APE

Yesterday we had our 'galette des rois' fundraiser and despite pouring rain we were quite successful!  Hot chocolate was very much liked and the cakes found eager takers.  I prepared little bags for the lucky people who found the fève (little figurine) inside the cake.

APE stands for Association des parents d'éleves, like a parents association, and we are a few enthusiastic Mums, mostly, who are trying to raise money for school material, school trips and events.

APE ist die Elterninitiative userer örtlichen Schule (Vor- und Grundschule).  Wir sind eine Gruppe motivierter, ideenreicher Mütter, welche versuchen mit verschiedenen Aktionen Schulmaterialien und-ausflüge zu subventionieren und das (Schul)Leben ihrer Kinder so abwechslungsreich wie möglich zu gestalten.

Since we set up a new administration and we are all very motivated we set up a tight agenda with many things to come.

This page is dedicated to that association, showing what we are doing and hoping, should someone be reading this and did already similar things/ has some experience, to leave a comment, maybe some good advise....
